Over the years Tonia has had more masterpieces than flops, thankfully. She uses both the wins and losses as a platform to leap from each time she sits down to create.
Every style and design begins differently, but her process systematically brings her collections unity. "I don’t really consider what I do as 'designing seasonal collections.' I treat each silhouette and pattern as works of art. Pieces to be admired, collected and enjoyed for many seasons."
The Canadian designer takes a notebook and pencil everywhere she goes, so she is prepared for anything that may spark an idea and light a fire.
